About Us
At Yes! I Am Happy, we believe that happiness is every child’s right. With this vision, we are committed to facilitating creative education integrated with 21st-century skills to ensure the holistic development of children from urban slums. We focus on children in elementary classes from class 3 to 8, nurturing their untapped potential and fostering their ability to excel in today’s rapidly evolving world. These young minds, full of curiosity and talent, often face neglect, and we aim to bridge that gap by empowering them with skills for the future.
Our Story
Our journey began in Surat in September 2015, fueled by the belief that every child deserves opportunities to grow and thrive. Through continuous learning, we developed our 4-phase experiential learning model, which has been in execution since May 2016. This model allows us to blend creativity and practical life skills, ensuring a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of our beneficiaries.
In the initial phase, we extended our reach to children across 11 cities through an internship program. Furthermore, our partnership with Hum Sab Neta Hain – The Life Skills Campaign in Nawalgarh, Rajasthan, directly impacted over 100 children, embedding essential life skills into their education. Stories from the field beautifully capture the transformative impact of our work, showcasing the vibrant creativity of the children we serve. Although our operations were halted in June 2020 due to unforeseen challenges, we are thrilled to announce that we will soon reinitiate our programs with renewed vigor and determination. Our mission remains steadfast: to reignite the joy of learning and unlock endless possibilities for the children who need it most.
At Yes! I Am Happy, we strive to create a future where every child experiences happiness, opportunity, and support—a future where education becomes the foundation for limitless dreams.

– Abdul Kalam
“Primary education holds the key to meaningful reform in today’s education system. Children between the ages of 9-15 possess remarkable creativity, and to nurture and expand their creative potential, it is essential to provide them with avenues for creative education.”
What we do?
We use creative tools like Origami, Thinking Routines, Exposure Trips, and Community Projects to make learning joyful and engaging. Our approach nurtures Leadership and Responsibility through hands-on activities, empowering children to build skills that prepare them for the future. Inspired by Harvard University’s concepts, our Thinking Routines enrich the learning process, fostering creativity, curiosity, and happiness.
